As you approach the new year take time to reflect on the year past. Remember the moments when you felt aligned with your true purpose. Those moments may be simple times such as holding your grandchild or reading with your children before bed, enjoying a walk with your dog on a brisk morning, resting in Shavasana or feeling gratitude as you sip a warm cup of tea. Those moments may also have been major life changing events such as changing jobs, shifting relationships or committing to a new resolve. Whether the moments were grandiose or modest they represent times when you were most connected with and listening to your soul. It might have been a joyful experience or an uncomfortable one as you grew closer to living your true purpose.
As you approach 2010 ask yourself what vision do you wish to hold for the new year. Take the lessons learned from 2009 and apply them to your dreams for 2010. Commit to what is really important in your life and know that you can create a life that is both fulfilling and joyful by being conscious of your choices. What one focuses upon expands, so be aware and deliberate with your focus.
At Purna Yoga East we invite you to join us in 2010 to explore ways in which to maintain your focus and create health, well-being and joy in your life.
By investing in classes at Purna Yoga East you are giving yourself not only the time to support your physical health and well being, but time to soothe your nervous system and calm your mind from outer distractions so that you can hear the soft whispers of your hearts calling and stay focused on your new years dreams.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Warmly,
Catharine
