The town is moving forward with a revised redevelopment plan for the municipal parking lot at the corner of Lombard and Main streets and hopes to complete the $400,000 project by the end of June, Town Manager Steve Biggs said.
Ashley Grady with Raleigh-based G2 Design recently finished an update of the design concept for the lot, which includes a parking loop with 30 angled spaces, a plaza with landscaping and areas for public art fronting Main Street and a grassy, landscaped area on the back side of the property. [more]
