On Thursday, Oct. 22, The Clayton News-Star will hold a town-hall meeting with Town Council candidates in the Council Chambers at The Clayton Center (111 E. Second St.) at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Please come with questions for the candidates.

Thanks to the Clayton News-Star for sponsoring the second town council campaign forum! I agree with Rev. Cotten's comments that the town council should consider all of Clayton's citizens concerns fairly and equally. The council should be a more diverse group that will represent all the neighborhoods of Clayton. The north side of Clayton has been overlooked for too long and needs sidewalks, road repairs, and a decent park for our children to play in.
